Mandragora

Mandragora is a Romanian film production company with 15 years of experience on the local and international market. Director and founder Cristi Puiu‘s “The Death of Mr. Lazarescu” is considered the first feature film of what has been called since then “the Romanian new wave”. Producer Anca Puiu and the Mandragora team has been developing tens of short and feature films, documentaries, published books and blu-rays, and initiated other visual experimental projects. Mandragora also organizes or takes part in trainings and conferences for students, professionals and the general public in Romania and abroad.
