IKEA store in Bucharest

The most famous shopping destination for ready‐to‐assemble furniture, kitchen appliances and home accessories, IKEA is also the world’s largest furniture retailer, with more than 390 stores in 48 countries. The first IKEA store in Romania was opened in May 2007. It was located, and still is, in the Baneasa Commercial Area, in the northern part of Bucharest. Our team conducted a several month project in order to prepare the entire package of communication materials IKEA was going to use in store for the following years, a strategy applied in every country the retailer entries. Currently, IKEA is preparing to open four more stores in Romania, one in Bucharest, and the others in Timisoara, Brasov and Cluj-Napoca.
